After almost two weeks of traveling, I’m finally back in New York City. While I already miss Dublin and London, it feels soothing to settle back into the routine I was working on before the holidays. I mentioned before in my last post that I recently started a new position as an editorial assistant at Manhattan/Beach Magazines, so I barely had a chance to tell anyone of my holiday plans beforehand.
While I can’t imagine packing again with my hefty suitcase still undone in my living room, I’m really excited for what 2015 has in store so far. I already have a family ski trip and beach vacation with my boyfriend and his family on the horizon – my apologies again, credit card – plus a trip to the Hamptons at the end of the month for work. I really should invest in some new luggage, huh?
There are so many thing I want to share about my trip, and while I’m sure I’ll share some pictures once the jet lag has subsided (I just got back this morning and let’s just say going through customs at two in the morning is just as thrilling as it sounds), I’m content now to just sip my morning tea at my desk and feel right at home.
Are you ready to get back to reality?
