There have been a tremendous amount of events going on this holiday season I’ve barely had time to write! Luckily I was able to catch an extra wink (or two) of sleep and relax a bit since getting off work last night, so I’m ready for the weekend festivities to begin.
Lately, most of my time has been consumed by my job (not necessarily a bad thing when you’re at W), but I still managed time to see the inspiring ladies of #73SpringShop – they have the most gorgeous Christmas tree that I’m tempted to replicate at home – and peruse their darling pop-up shop, bet it all at the casino-themed Kate Spade Holiday Party, see the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, have a cozy Italian meal with Yasmin at my friend Andrew’s restaurant soft opening (Little Sal’s on 16th St. off Union Square), make a day trip from Grand Central Station to explore Connecticut with the best red-headed tour guide I know and still make last-minute preparations for my upcoming holiday trip to London/Dublin with two of my closest friends in the city.
All this… and I actually start a new job Monday.
While it’s bittersweet to leave my incredible team of W Magazine, and 1 World Trade Center, I’m really excited to start this next chapter of my career. I’ll save the details for next week, but do keep your fingers crossed for me!
What have you been up to this holiday season? Do tell!
