Happy Labor Weekend, y’all!
Despite the constant game of travel and catch up I’ve been playing on summer, I’m thrilled that I was able to make it out of the city for a final trip of summer.
Matt and I drove up to Providence, RI, then met up with one of my best friends, Megan, and her boyfriend, Taylor, in Boston, MA. We explored the city, took a Duck (and ghost) tour, watched a few SEC football games and toured a brewery. Singing along to Taylor Swift, bonding over games of hide and seek and spontaneous dance-offs were obviously included.
Not to mention a last trip to Kimball’s for the best ice cream on the east coast, of course.
Cheers to the past few days celebrating!
P.s. What did you do to celebrate the unofficial end of summer? Details, please!
I’m so thankful to relay that things are starting to come more and more together with the new apartment! I honestly could not have done it without Matt, my family, his parents and the support of all of my good friends. Nothing makes you feel more special than having the kinds of people in your life who are wiling to move your stuff up and down five flights of stairs!
This weekend, I’ve really been trying to take a breather and organize everything. Luckily, my mom and step father drove up from Maryland to help finalize the move and explore my new neighborhood. Let’s just say, they were impressed. Like me, they were drawn to Hoboken’s charm, quaint shops/restaurants, community feel and way less traffic/noise.
I’m excited to show them more of Hoboken today and even meet up with Matt’s parents for brunch later on. I’m just so happy everything’s coming together and that this new apartment is truly feeling like a home
Hello, long weekend!
A three day weekend could not come at a better time – we just wrapped up New York Fashion Week yesterday and now it’s on to London. I’m excited to take a breather while still looking back at my favorite shows so far.
Did you have a favorite this season? Let me know!
P.s. How adorable is this pink bug? My mom had one in high school – if only she kept it!
