After almost two months of traveling every weekend (Maine, D.C., Maryland, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey (LBI), Connecticut, etc.) this summer, I’m finally taking a weekend to relax and recuperate at home.
Apologies for my delay in blogging aside, I’m excited to get back to a writing routine, despite a couple more trips ahead (Annapolis/D.C. to visit family and Megan who just moved there – yay! – Chicago for Lollapalozza and then Europe and Russia for a last-minute family vacation).
You can see this weekend was absolutely necessary. Only movie marathons and stops to our favorite Hoboken brunch spot allowed.
I cannot tell you how excited I am for spring to finally be here.
The warmer temperatures and longer days are much appreciated after another long winter bundled up under layers and succumbing to weekends of Netflix and Seamless (not that I did not enjoy those things at the time!).
I also am looking forward to sharing some exciting news next week that I could not be more thankful for – especially since I’ve had the most incredible support from Matt, my family and friends during the process.
Let’s just say, things are looking up! 😉
