Hello, long weekend!
A three day weekend could not come at a better time – we just wrapped up New York Fashion Week yesterday and now it’s on to London. I’m excited to take a breather while still looking back at my favorite shows so far.
Did you have a favorite this season? Let me know!
P.s. How adorable is this pink bug? My mom had one in high school – if only she kept it!
Even though Matt and I celebrated Valentine’s Day early this year, we’re still planning on commemorating the holiday tomorrow with a cozy meal, bubbly and a few of our favorite oldies on the record player.
I have always been a big fan of Valentine’s Day though; it’s never been about whether or not I’ve been in a relationship, but more of spending time with the people I love. I personally have enjoyed the holiday with more than one of the above suggestions, and hope it inspires you to appreciate the non-Hallmark aspects of the day.
Remember: if all else fails, there is always chocolate.
I don’t remember the last time I was so ready for the weekend. It’s been crazy at work preparing for Fashion Week (*month) so this will be the last 48 hours that I can truly relax till March. Fortunately, LIVELY was sweet enough to sponsor a barre class tonight for me and a few friends, so I’m sure that’ll help me sleep tonight. Then on Sunday, Matt and I are hosting a little impromptu Super Bowl party! I cannot wait to see some old (and new) friends, try some new recipes (below) and cheer on Tom Brady.
Have fun, everyone!
4. Loved reading this exclusive interview with Karlie Kloss. Not only does she juggle being a model, NYU student and entrepreneur, but she clearly has a good head on her shoulders that embodies the definition of “role model.”
