After almost two months of traveling every weekend (Maine, D.C., Maryland, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey (LBI), Connecticut, etc.) this summer, I’m finally taking a weekend to relax and recuperate at home.
Apologies for my delay in blogging aside, I’m excited to get back to a writing routine, despite a couple more trips ahead (Annapolis/D.C. to visit family and Megan who just moved there – yay! – Chicago for Lollapalozza and then Europe and Russia for a last-minute family vacation).
You can see this weekend was absolutely necessary. Only movie marathons and stops to our favorite Hoboken brunch spot allowed.
Clearly from the image above, I’m not ready to let go of the holidays just yet. Or maybe I’m already craving another trip (?). Either way, I hope all of you are enjoying your first full week of 2017 so far. I’m still recovering from my holiday festivities (more on those later), so I’m looking forward to a peaceful weekend filled with catching up with friends, writing and helping Matt put the finishing touches on his place before taking on week number two… along with my 2017 resolutions 😉

Did anyone think of a Victoria’s Secret’s model when they read this? I mean, it was only a few weeks ago that Karlie Kloss, 20, was only recently made an official Angel. And she has been walking for the lingerie fashion house since 2011!
To sum it up, keep fighting for your dreams.
