After a week of much needed rest (although ironically I spent most of it recovering from a cold), I’m back in Manhattan and could not be more excited for the upcoming festivities over the next few weeks. My friend, Caroline, is celebrating her birthday tonight and then it’s the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor’s Island this weekend – not to mention more of the Olympics to cheer on. Not even a heat wave or a torrential downpour could bring me down Don’t get me wrong: it was wonderful visiting my family, but it’s also great to be back in the city I call home. Happy Friday, y’all!
I recently moved some flights around so that I could participate in a family vacation (more on that later) and I’m wondering if I should cross off two items on my summer two do list this weekend – host a picnic and visit Block Island. As long as the heat remains manageable, expect me on the first ferry over this weekend. Make sure to follow my adventures on Snapchat (NYCGirlinPearls) and Instagram for more fun!
