Happy Memorial Day, y’all!
I apologize for my lack of posts lately, I feel like the days just keep going quicker and quicker, but I promise I will get back to regularly schedule posts asap 😉
I’m headed to Maine to celebrate the “unofficial” start of summer by exploring lighthouses, drinking rosé, and, of course, lobster rolls among laughter and good weather. I’ve actually never been before! Recommendations are welcome.
What are you up to this holiday weekend?
How is the weekend almost over?!?
While I’ve been kept busy organizing the new apartment and settling into a new routine, I’ve also had time to celebrate a handful of occasions – including Cinco de Mayo (the mango margarita at Dahlia’s in Tribeca is unbeatable) and the Kentucky Derby. Not to mention, one of my uncles surprised my cousin, Kelsey, and I by a spontaneous visit, so all of us (plus Matt) signed up for a secret concert in Brooklyn. If anyone is interested in seeing new music at a cool venue – they literally tell you the location within 24 hours of the show – you should check out Sofar Sounds.
Needless to say, Sunday will truly be a day of rest after all the fun this week!
I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend!
Despite the up and down temperatures, I feel like spring is right around the corner in New York. Luckily I’ve had a chance to embrace a little of the warmer weather today with a picnic (the view from Hoboken’s waterfront gets me every time) and then Matt and I also celebrated our one year anniversary (!) Saturday night at Delmonico’s.
Let’s just say, it’s been one of the best weekends to date
