I had such a wonderful time visiting Palm Springs this past December – honestly, it’s been one of my most relaxing trips in years and a chance to catch up with one of my best friends I highly recommend it for a long weekend for anyone who could use a little rest and relaxation (or escape from the cooler temperatures) during the transitional weather from winter to spring!
Here are my favorite spots for anyone heading there:
Where To Stay
What To Do/See
Where To Drink/Eat
El Jefe at The Saguaro Hotel – Get the mahi mahi fish tacos. Trust me.
Chi Chi’s at The Avalon Hotel – Fantastic place for cocktail hour. Try the Paloma.
Eight4Nine – Great menu and service. Make sure to snag a seat outside.
The Purple Palms at The Colony Palms Hotel – I found it hard to share the appetizers…
Cheeky’s – Incredibly affordable and their breakfast quesadilla is sensational.
Great Shakes – The name says it all. Go for a post-aerial tramway or an after dinner treat.
What are some of your favorite things to do/see in Palm Springs?
A couple of weeks ago, my dad, younger brother, Danny, and I all realized we had the same week off. With all three of us living in different cities with our own crazy schedules, this hasn’t happened in years. I think we were all ready for a vacation.
Thankfully, I booked my flights right away and we quickly found a place off the coast of Florida for a few days. I have fond memories of frequent beach trips growing up so I cannot wait to trade-in my city wardrobe for a week of tropical swim suits and sandals.
I recently moved some flights around so that I could participate in a family vacation (more on that later) and I’m wondering if I should cross off two items on my summer two do list this weekend – host a picnic and visit Block Island. As long as the heat remains manageable, expect me on the first ferry over this weekend. Make sure to follow my adventures on Snapchat (NYCGirlinPearls) and Instagram for more fun!
