Even as a born and raised Floridian, I had to admit, Palm Beach surprised me – in the best way possible.
Naturally, it was great to get away from the cold, but it was ultimately the history and old-school glamour that intrigued me. As I walked into The Breakers, I literally overheard the two men behind me talk about how F. Scott Fitzgerald had stayed there… kismet?
Here are my favorite spots for anyone heading there:
Where To Stay
What To Do/See
Relax By the Beach/Pool | Talk A Walk Through A Local Museum
Where To Drink/Eat
Sant Ambroeus – There’s a reason why it’s a favorite in New York City. Personally, I’m a fan of their breakfast items – particularly their pancakes 😉
Polo (at Colony Hotel) – You can’t go wrong with the French Toast or eggs benedict.
The Island Bee – Looking for a healthy, low-key spot? Here’s a great place for smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls.
Pizza Al Fresco – Perfect for a leisurely outdoor lunch during a stroll around Worth Avenue.
The Seafood Bar (at The Breakers) – A hidden gem for lunch by the sea.
Buccan – Dress up and treat yourself to a favorite local hotspot. Great wine list, too!
HMF (at The Breakers) – Stop by for a cocktail and a taste of old glamour.
Piccolo Gelato – Go for the waffle cone. You’ve earned it.
