I’m so thankful to relay that things are starting to come more and more together with the new apartment! I honestly could not have done it without Matt, my family, his parents and the support of all of my good friends. Nothing makes you feel more special than having the kinds of people in your life who are wiling to move your stuff up and down five flights of stairs!
This weekend, I’ve really been trying to take a breather and organize everything. Luckily, my mom and step father drove up from Maryland to help finalize the move and explore my new neighborhood. Let’s just say, they were impressed. Like me, they were drawn to Hoboken’s charm, quaint shops/restaurants, community feel and way less traffic/noise.
I’m excited to show them more of Hoboken today and even meet up with Matt’s parents for brunch later on. I’m just so happy everything’s coming together and that this new apartment is truly feeling like a home
4. Anna Wintour + Seth Meyers? What could be better:
How cool is it that Anna’s daughter is a producer for Anna’s – I mean, Seth Meyer’s show?
If you were avoiding social media last night, you may have missed the glamour and excitement of the “China: Through The Looking Glass” Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Held annually in New York City, it’s the event of the season that continuously brings out stars of the fashion/entertainment industry from Rihanna to George Clooney. If you were distracting yourself with starting True Detective like I was last night and just seeing the images from the event, you know it was another night dominated by a competitive red carpet.
Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy (I feel like she always rocks the red carpet!)
Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein
Naomi Watts in Givenchy Haute Couture (always classic)
Olivia Wilde in Prada (daring accessories with the gloves – but I love that she went for it!)
Did anyone see what Sarah Jessica Parker was wearing? What did you think?
Plus, who were your favorite style stars?
