If any of you have been following me on Twitter, you might have noticed yesterday was my last day interning at Harper’s Bazaar. I could not be more grateful for the incredible learning experience and the friends I’ve made along the way this winter, for it was an amazing chance to take on more responsibility as well as an opportunity to work closer to my career goals.
Sadly, this now means I must return to Florida and therefore I’ve been scrambling to work in packing between last-minute visits with friends and my work hours. I’d like to say that I am the perfect packer, but in reality it seems like every time I have to jet off somewhere I end up packing and editing the same suitcase at least three or four times before heading to the airport. I’d eventually want to work that number down, but for now I’m still working on it.
Luckily for me, my carry-on is always a safe bet. A book, music and some paper and pencils to jot down ideas is all I need for entertainment. And since I rarely get cold (even on airplanes), a light scarf is just right for me. Add a power bar and maybe a magazine or two and I’m good to go.
What do you pack in your carry-on?
