When Caroline invited me to the Lively party last night, I was more than excited to go. The female-founded, direct-to-consumer brand that is known for its “leisurée” which is an idea I’m in love with as a woman.
If you are new to Lively, the styles blur the lines of lingerie and activewear, while remaining stylish and comfortable. Think of a bra you can wear to the office, then yoga, and then out on the town – that is the Lively aesthetic.
The company is inspired by what they believe make women sexy today: smart, healthy, active, and outgoing, and you could even see that at the party.
Immediately upon walking into the beautifully spacious loft, you could sense that this wasn’t your average fashion party. You could actually feel a kindred alliance among all of the women – from the Lively team to the other invitees I met over refreshing Made Real cocktails to waiting in line for the custom Ryan Porter bracelets.
After taking taking in the “leisurée” products (#mustbuys), Caroline and me were introduced to Lively’s founder and CEO Michelle Cordeiro Grant (pictured above). In addition to being a complete girl’s girl, it was inspiring to learn about her hybrid lingerie company that has only been around since April 2016.
